GOOD. this is a standard Vinyl soffit from certainteed. we use this when a vented option is required and a mantainance free finish is required. it allows us to install Vented panels mixed with solid panels to allow for proper ventilation. the main difference between this design and other designs is simply ascetics. BETTER. this is an also a soffit material that we use on a lot of projects. it is also a vinyl soffit by Certainteed called perimeter. the main difference is this has the ventilation hidden own the sides of the profile verses the face of the panel. this allows the venting to be continuous without actually seeing the vents. this is also a thicker material so it lays flatter on big areas like front porch ceilings. BEST. this is one option for our "best" category. James Hardie Fiber Cement Soffit. this is a cementitious product that comes with a 35 year paint warranty. it can be smooth or wood grain. the venting is an exposed style so you see the holes for the vents. it is a vary durable product and comes in 17 standard colors and unlimited custom colors. Price starting at $16 per sq. foot.
BEST. this is Royal building products "cedar renditions". it comes in a powder coated woodgrain appearance with the longevity of metal. it is offered in 3 standard wood tones too give the appearance of real wood with the matanaince free appeal of metal. prices starting at $25 per sq. foot.
